Latina, Italy, April 17 - 22, 2007
On Tuesday April 17 I flew to Rome, arriving on the morning of the 18th. I was picked up and taken to our meeting hotel in Norma, a village up in the mountains overlooking Latina.
Our meetings were held on Thursday and Friday. On Saturday we took a bus tour of rural Latina. We visited a water buffalo dairy, an
organic goat dairy, a pumping station which keeps the water levels down in the area of land reclaimed from the Mediterranean Sea, an historical museum which describes life in the area before and after reclamation, and during World War two.
On Sunday I flew back to Missouri.
