Saskatchewan, August 5 - 13

Finally, it is vacation time. I got up very early on Saturday, August 5 and headed for Kansas City to catch the 9:00 flight to Minneapolis. There I met Sylvia, Jill and Scott who had flewn in from Boise. We arrived in Saskatoon where we were welcomed by the whole Hnenny-Blue gang.

As is tradition, we ate a lot, golfed, hottubed, geocached and had a great time.

On Wednesday when we drove to Moose Jaw to visit the Johnsons. There we ate more, geocached, (didn't get a game of golf in this trip), and did some work around the farm. One of the highlights was an afternoon in Roleau, Saskatchewan where we toured the set of the hit sitcom, Corner Gas (see photo). Then on Saturday evening it was back to Saskatoon to catch the flight home on Sunday afternoon.

Because of the foiled terrorist attack in England, security was very high when we returned but we were only slightly delayed and the trip was very enjoyable.
