Ireland, June 30 -July 5, 2003

I flew from London to Ireland to meet with colleagues at the Letterykenny Institute of Technology and the National University of Ireland - Galway. As I often do, I took a secondary road so that I could see parts of the Island that I hadn't seen before. I stopped on the way west and found several caches in beautiful spots, including the top of a hill/mountain (see photo 1), WB Yeats gravesite in Drumcliffe (phot 2), and a lake near the river Shannon (photo 3). I also introduced Matt Fannin to geocaching on this trip as we made our way to the airport in Shannon.
