Washington DC, January 16 - 19, 2006

On Monday (Martin Luther King Day) I drove to Kansas City and flew to DC. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday I met with people from USDA Rural Development, and Cooperative State Research, Education and Extensnion Service about various projects. I flew back on Thursday and got home just before midnight.

Urbana, Illinois, January 8 - 9, 2006
On my return from Saskatchewan, I flew into Urbana and spent Sunday afternoon and Monday morning with Harley, Amy and Elise. I delivered gifts to them from Canada, and got to enjoy seeing Elise's delight with the doll cradle her Great-Grandfather Johnson made for her.

Moose Jaw and Saskatoon, Canada, December 31 - January 8, 2006
On New Years Eve I flew from Seattle to Chicago and then to Regina (via Toronto because my planned flight via Minneapolis was cancelled). I spent 4 nights in Moose Jaw, 3 nights in Saskatoon and then one night in Strasbourg. On January 8 I drove from Strasbourg to Regina and flew to Urbana, Illinois.
While in Moose Jaw I went to a New Years Party at Howies and a 40th birthday party for Carol at Mom and Dad's.
