Tom's Travels

Harley, Amy Elise and I flew from Champaign-Urbana, to Seattle on Boxing Day, to celebrate the holidays with Sylvia, Jill and Scott. WE arrived early in the afternoon and took a taxi to the Marriott Reidence Inn - Lake Union. Jill, Scott and Sylvia brought some gifts over and we had a post-Christmas gift exchange. We then went out for dinner at a nearby seafood restaurant.

On the 29th we spent some time downtown. Elise and I rode on a carousel and then we all had lunch at a water view restaurant at teh Farmer's Market.

On the 30th we did more site seeing. Harley, Amy and Elise went to the Seattle Children's Museum, while I went geocaching. Then we met for lunch and watched some dancers perform at Center House.

On Wednesday December 21, I drove from Columbia to Urbana, arriving in the evening. Harley, Amy, Elise and I prepared for Christmas together. By Friday it had warmed up a little so Elise and I went to Carle Park for a couple of hours and built a snowman. On Christmas morning we opened gifts, assembled things and played with new toys. Later we had dinner at home and prepared for out trip to Seattle the desk.
