St. Louis, Missouri, November 29 - 30, 2005
I timed my return from Europe to get me to St. Louis in time to take part in the Metropolitan Forum Advisory Committee meeting in downtown St. Louis, on November 29 and 30.

Brussels, Belgium, November 27-28, 2005
On Sunday, November 27, I flew from Barcelona to Brussels. Because of snow in much of Norther Europe, the flight was delayed a couple of hours. On the 28th I met with professors from Hungary, Scotland, Spain, and Canada about plans for future summer schools of the International Comparative Rural Policy Studies program.

Barcelona, Spain, November 21 - 26, 2005
On November 21 I flew to Barcelona, Spain (arriving on the 22nd). I attended meetings of a research project entitled, Toward a Policy Model for Multifunctional Agriculture and Rural Development (TOPMARD). I gave a workshop on the 23 and then worked with teams on the 24th and 25th to develop the TOPMARD model.

Urbana, Illinois, November 10 - 13, 2005

Following my class on Wednesday November 10 I drove to Urbana to help Amy look after Elise while Harley was in Seattle. I helped in the morning and again in the evenings. During the day I worked while Elise was with the nanny. Then on the weekend I babysat so that Amy could get some work done.
