St. Louis, Missouri, September 19 - 21, 2004
I was in charge of local arrangements for the 2004 meetings of the National Public Policy Education Committee. I wanted to have these meetings in St. Louis to help commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Louis and Clark expedition which started near St. Louis in 1804. I organized a field trip to the Confluence State Park where the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers meet.

Ireland, September 3 - 8, 2004
Traveled to Donegal for a planning meeting for future collaboration. Took a day and went sight seeing and geocaching with Matt Fannin. We found a couple of caches in wonderful locations.
