East Lansing, Michigan, October 29 - 30, 2003

I was invited to Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan give a presentation on Rural Economics. I visited with several friends and colleagues while I was there. I cam across a store called Moose Jaw and an interesting statue. I also found one geocache in the morning before I caught my plane. It was in a wild area along a river in the middle of the City.

Saskatchewan, Canada October 19 - 24, 2003

I traveled to Saskatoon to present a paper and take part in a conference on Healthy Rural Communities. The conference, at the Bessborough, was very informative, and I was able to meet a number of friends from Canada and make some new friends and colleagues from around the world. In the photo below is my colleague, John Bryden, from Scotland, and an African graduate student.
